Why?

I had initially set out to setup the site myself, hosting everything on a single VPS, but I stopped because:

• I couldn’t maintain it, often felt lazy
• I used zola which didn’t provided me the flexibility I needed and templating was a pain to deal with
• writing new blogposts was an hassle as I manually copied stuff to server
• I wanted to try out new stuff, particularly Astro.js, and use Tailwindcss for CSS as maintaining Sass became an hassle
• I don’t want to pay 5$ every month for service that I barely use
